OFX Download Options
The 2005 releases of Microsoft Money and Intuit Quicken will support the OFX downloadable file type only, and will no longer be supporting the QIF and OFC downloadable file types. We are now able to support OFX for Quicken 2004 and 2005.
Instructions for use of OFX Download
From the account you are wishing to download information from:
- Click “Download” in the upper left hand corner.
- You will have the option to choose the following
- Download format – OFX for money, OFC for money, QIF for quicken, QVC for excel
- Either new transactions (all transactions since last you downloaded) or all transactions from a specific date range.
- This will prompt a screen on you computer from MS Money that it is ready to import the new transactions.
Issues you may encounter
Question:
When I download my checking account information all the information does not appear?
Answer:
On some accounts, the first line may appear as a “Debit Purchase,” and unfortunately when using the .QIF download file type only the first line of account history will download.
We are now able to support .QFX file types required by Quicken. Unfortunately, we will unable to correct the problem that may occur in Quicken 2003 and earlier.
Question:
Which download file type should I use with Microsoft Money?
Answer:
We recommend using the OFX download type for Microsoft Money versions 2002 and newer.
